چکیده
Abstract Position-meter and speed-meter interferometers have been analysed for detecting gravitational waves. Speed-meter is proposed to reduce the radiation pressure noise, which dominant at low frequency. We introduce concept of acceleration measurement in comparison with position speed measurement. In this paper, we describe a general derive its standard quantum limit. provide an example acceleration-meter interferometer configuration. show that shot noise dominates frequency following dependence $1/\Omega^2$, while constant. The has even stronger suppression than speed-meter.

Wave Detection in Acceleration Plethysmogram
OBJECTIVES Acceleration plethysmogram (APG) obtained from the second derivative of photoplethysmography (PPG) is used to predict risk factors for atherosclerosis with age. This technique is promising for early screening of atherosclerotic pathologies. However, extraction of the wave indices of APG signals measured from the fingertip is challenging. In this paper, the development of a wave detec...

متن کاملQuantum Measurement Theory in Gravitational-Wave Detectors
The fast progress in improving the sensitivity of the gravitational-wave detectors, we all have witnessed in the recent years, has propelled the scientific community to the point at which quantum behavior of such immense measurement devices as kilometer-long interferometers starts to matter. The time when their sensitivity will be mainly limited by the quantum noise of light is around the corne...
متن کاملGravitational Wave detection through microlensing?
It is shown that accurate photometric observations of a relatively high–magnification microlensing event (A ≫ 1), occurring close to the line of sight of a gravitational wave (GW) source, represented by a binary star, can allow the detection of subtle gravitational effects. After reviewing the physical nature of such effects, it is discussed to what extent these phenomena can actually be due to...
متن کاملGround-based gravitational-wave detection
In the past three years, the first generation of large gravitational-wave interferometers has begun operation near their design sensitivities, taking up the mantle from the bar detectors that pioneered the search for the first direct detection of gravitational waves. Even as the current ground-based interferometers were reaching their design sensitivities, plans were being laid for the future. ...
